Meira Leonard graduated with High Honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Photographic Illustration in Advertising Photography. She received the prestigious Thomas Ward Ball Memorial Award—an honor given to only one recipient each year—for a photographic series that is now part of RIT’s permanent collection. Throughout all four years of her studies, her work was also selected for the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences (SPAS) Honor Show. Over the past 29+ years, Meira’s photography has encompassed a wide range of subjects, including product, travel, wedding, landscape, and still life photography.
